To all of our Muslim friends we hope that you had an amazing time celebrating Eid Al-Fitr! If you’re wondering what is Eid Al-Fitr? It is a festive holiday signifying the end of Ramadan. After a long month of fasting, Muslims all around the world gather with their friends and families to celebrate this significant holiday. 

Remember to register for classes for the Summer semester. Register by April 29 for a 5% discount! You should have received an email about how to register. Search for “Time to register for Summer courses” in your UIC email. You can also review the directions here. If you try to register and you receive a HOLD message, be sure to contact tutorium@uic.edu . 

We had our last English Conversation Hour of the semester! The topic was Travel and Adventure. So many of you shared that you would like to do more adventure travel like zip lining, skydiving, and scuba diving too. Others shared travel stories about lost passports, missing luggage, and missed planes. Finally everyone shared the best place to visit in their home country.

Calling all Anime and K-Pop fans! Join the Student Activities Board for the second annual A-K Con on Thursday, April 17th from 5:00-8:00PM, a celebration of all things anime, K-pop, and pop culture! Enjoy an exciting day filled with:

Even before you take your final exams, you can check the grades for your assignments, tests, projects, and homework in Blackboard. Here’s how to view them

Step 1: In Blackboard, select your course.

Step 2: Click “My Grades” on the navigation bar.

Step 3: Review your scores.  Look for missing assignments.  Read comments from your teacher.
