Beginning March 7, 2026, North Fulton residents and employees will have a new, flexible way to move around the community with the launch of MARTA Reach, an on-demand transit service introduced as part of MARTA’s NextGen Bus Network.

The new Zone 312 – North Fulton brings curb-to-curb, shared-ride service to our area. For businesses and property owners within the True North 400 district, this new service enhances workforce mobility and provides additional transportation options for employees, visitors and customers.

Momentum is building around the future of North Point Mall. A new update confirms that Jamestown, the firm behind Ponce City Market, has partnered with New York Life Insurance Company to help transform the 100-acre site into a sports-anchored, mixed-use entertainment district.

The vision includes a state-of-the-art arena, multifamily housing, retail, offices, hotels and integrated public transit, all designed to create a walkable, activated district aligned with the City of Alpharetta’s long-term redevelopment goals. 

While a project timeline has not yet been announced, this partnership marks a significant step forward in reimagining the North Point corridor and advancing an arena-centered redevelopment concept.

The City of Milton continues to move forward on critical transportation and infrastructure improvements that will enhance safety, connectivity and long-term mobility for residents and businesses including a new roundabout at Cox Road & Ebenezer/Etris Road.

Milton is also pursuing a larger multi-lane roundabout at Ga. 372/Crabapple Road and Green Road, an intersection that has experienced 30 reported crashes between 2020 and 2024.

The Council also approved two more projects – a construction agreement with GDOT for new trails connecting to the Big Creek Greenway and the first presentation of a use permit for a 25-acre mixed-use development in the Deerfield District.
