More than 1,000 students celebrated degree completion at UTulsa's 150th Commencement and are headed to excellent jobs or prestigious graduate programs. New alumni enjoy a 96% placement rate and an average salary of $73,692.

Greater good

Each May, the Marcy Lawless Service Award is given to a graduating student who embodies a generous spirit and commitment to others. With extensive volunteerism on and off campus, there’s no better candidate than this year’s honoree Jeremy Schick.

Class acts

Among the highest forms of recognition a UTulsa faculty member can receive is the student-nominated Outstanding Teacher Award. The professors receiving this once-in-a-lifetime award for 2025 are Mohamed Fakhr, Michael Futch, and Anila Madhan.

Dedicated to discovery

Given annually, UTulsa’s Outstanding Researcher Award honors achievements that have been validated in the scholar’s professional fields based on a single project or a cumulative contribution. The 2025 recipients are Akhtar Ali, Lars Engle, and Tyler Moore.
