Pocket Tens is a passion project that brought together about 70 students who worked countless hours over nearly 11 months, all for a single launch amid the mesquite and scrub brush of Midland, Texas.

English majors Kristen Huynh, Sarai Winkler and Reed Tanner took the top three spots in Coastal Carolina University’s (CCU) 2025 South Carolina Creative Sociology Writing Competition.

This year, as part of a Creative Inquiry course in the Department of Finance at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business, nine students participated in the University of Georgia’s Stock Pitch Competition.

The Palmetto LEAF (PLEAF) program seeks applicants for fourth class to nurture future leaders for South Carolina’s agriculture, forestry, and natural resource industries.
