CGH Core Faculty Helps Bring Ghana Dental Students to UIC For Training |

Dr. Maarten Bosland has facilitated short-term observer internships within the College of Dentistry specifically for dental students from the Dental School at the Kwame Nkrumah University for Science and Technology located in Kumasi, Ghana. A student specializing in oral-maxillofacial surgery participated in 2025 (refer to the photos), and at present, another student is at UIC concentrating on restorative dentistry and prosthodontics, working alongside Dr. Rand Harlow, the Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry, and his associate Dr. Alex Sarpong.
