July Student Spotlight: Brad Gottsegen
"When I began exploring the possibilities for an online MBA, I was looking for one that was a) at a reputable institution that I’d be proud to graduate from, b) had an asynchronous format that would allow me to complete my work when I actually had time to do it, c) one that allowed for direct access to faculty in case I needed it, and d) one that was affordable. Loyola met all of these requirements to a T, and the fact that, by enrolling here, I’d be keeping my tuition dollars local made the decision to become a Loyola student that much more obvious.
Loyola Online has been perfect thus far. Granted, it’s certainly different than being on campus, but throughout the current pandemic, students worldwide have seen that learning online is a real possibility but something that’s contingent upon what you want to make of it. The most surprising aspect of the program has been the friendships I’ve been able to make - I’ve never met any of these folks face to face, but we’ve developed true relationships that I expect to last beyond graduation."
Each issue we will feature an online student or faculty/staff member who embodies the Ignatian ideals of faith, truth, justice, and service in our online community. If you'd like to nominate someone, please contact ssconlinega@loyno.edu to share who and why you think deserves to be in the spotlight.
