In September and October 2025, Condair issued two Technical Bulletins (attached) to its sales partners discussing a condition that had been identified which may result in severe electrical damage within the Affected RS Series I Unit. While Condair had (and still has) received no reports of the conditions leading to any damage beyond the Affected RS Series I Unit or causing any injuries, it developed a retrofit kit to be installed on Affected RS Series I Units no later than the next scheduled maintenance or February 28th, 2026 whichever is earlier.
Condair warned that failure to complete these upgrades in a timely manner increases the risk of severe equipment failure.
We also referenced a software update developed for all RS Series I and RS Series II units which improves water level management and recommended that this update be installed on all units during the next scheduled maintenance as well.
Condair does not have contact information for your contractors/end users and relied upon, you, its sales partners to notify the end users. Despite these previous notices, we have identified that at least one of the units in the field sold to you have not yet been updated. To expedite completion and ensure communication, Condair requests that you provide us with the names of the contractors and/or end users for the attached list of units and we will contact them and coordinate the required work.
Please note that failure to promptly provide this information may delay the retrofit process and potentially create/increase your liability exposure.
