Below are important announcements, resources and funding opportunities with deadlines that generally offer at least two months lead time. Should you need assistance identifying the right grant opportunities for your research, please fill out the Funding Opportunity Search Assistance (FOSA) form. If you wish to pursue any of these opportunities, please complete the Notice of Intent to Seek External Funding (NOISE) form at least 15 business days in advance of the submission deadline.

In response to the TAMUS Research Excellence Fund (REF) solicitation, RIED has developed the following webpage to provide Tarleton State researchers with the internal REF submission information and guidelines.

Please note Tarleton State University is limited on the number of total proposal submissions and on the total number of awarded projects we can receive. In order for RIED to review, approve and submit a proposal, an internal deadline has been set for each REF program.
We highly encourage you all to strategically connect with your TAMUS colleagues to provide collaborative support on REF proposals external to Tarleton State's submissions. As needed, RIED is here to facilitate cross-institutional collaboration for Tarleton State faculty and researchers.

Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) Platform |

As a member of TAMUS you have access to their Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) platform
REDCap is a secure, web-based platform for building and managing online surveys and databases, often required for HIPAA compliance. It is great for clinical researchers, medical researchers, vollaborative research teams, and more.
To access the platform, you will need to first complete the REDCap User Account Request Form and complete the folllowing TranTraq course: 2114755 - Texas A&M HIPAA and Security Training for TAMU, AgriLife, TEES, TEEX, TTI Faculty, Staff, & Students. Upon completion, further communication will come from the TAMUS team regarding account set up.
