Message from the Director of Extension

This is a busy time for everyone in Extension. County Fairs are about to begin, we are having annual reviews, and we are moving into the final quarter of the fiscal year. On campus, I’m seeing students getting their pictures taken by the Old Main fountain in their graduation gowns and caps. Their smiles are full of accomplishment, excitement and pride. This takes me back, a little further than I care to admit. Their smiles are contangious and give me a sense of pride to be working in higher education. I’m also proud knowing that once they graduate, for those who remain in state, UArizona Cooperative Extension won’t be to too far away with more quality educational opportunities and a place they can yell “Bear Down” with the same pride they did at graduation.
