Join us for the last 2021-22 Shutz Lecture Series event! This panel explores how art can offer a gateway to reflecting on the rich textures of identities forming at the intersection of cultural heritage, subjective experience, and social exchanges. It opens up conversation on the complex negotiation of Black subjectivities and their translation into visual and material forms which speak to the long history of racial injustice.
