Message from Fritz

Welcome all families new and old to the 2021/22 season. As I stepped on the field to coach this week, I felt grateful for normalcy after such a difficult start to last season.

With the kick-off of the season, I am happy to welcome new coaches to our talented staff! I am also happy to report that we formed several new teams to our Club. As the Folsom Lake region continues to grow, we are seeing record interest and turnout for our programs. Clubs around us are experiencing similar interest and this improves the quality of local teams and competitiveness between clubs. All great for player development!!
With tournament season upon us, I would like to wish everyone the best of luck! Have a great month and stay tuned for more exciting announcements ahead. Go Surf!

Thank You Lisa!

One of the greatest aspects of being involved in youth sports is working alongside parents and other community members that work tirelessly on behalf of our kids. There is one person I would like to use this space in this issue to recognize as being and absolute standout in this regard.

Lisa Davis and her family have supported youth soccer in our area for over a decade. The list of things Lisa has done for our Club is just too long to list here, but it would include volunteer coordinator, financial aid officer, board member, member of our communications team, team manager, coordinator of our fan gear shop and SUPERMOM to teams of girls, to name a few. She has been and a great friend to me, to our club and to our community.

What a great way to kick off the new season! The pre-season camp was a huge success with over 400 players participating. Thank you to the coaches and college players who made it possible! Click the button below to read more and view some great pictures for the camp!

Friends of Surf

Friends of Surf (FoS) is an integral and supportive part of the Surf community. For families with Surf players, the parents automatically become members of the FoS. Parents interested in becoming mor active members in the organization can choose to serve on the FoS Committee.
FoS is a volunteer organization at Folsom Lake Surf striving to enrich the Folsom Lake Surf experience for
all players and their families, and to support the Club through:

Welcoming new families to the Surf
Coordinating and organizing activities, functions, information, and service
Supporting and enhancing Club programs, coaches, and activitie
Supporting and coordinating community events through the Folsom Lake Surf

Surf Soccer Project Haiti - $42 To Go!

Please join us in supporting Surf Soccer Project Haiti, A Surf Nation Fundraiser Benefitting Institut Edeline! Together We Can Build A Soccer Field For the Haitian Community!

So far our club has raised $958 leaving us with only $42 left to go to reach our goal. Thank you to all those of have contributed. Special thanks to the girls who setup a lemonade stand to raise money for this worthy project.

Together Surf Nation can make a difference beyond or local soccer communities.
