Dear Traveling Friends,

What a great month to be thankful for all the blessings each of us experiences in our lives!

As you begin to think about travel for 2021, this is the time to dream and decide what fits your life. Covid will no doubt still linger next year, but my hopes and plans rest on a vaccine being available in the winter with widespread dissemination by early spring. If you are itching to get out a bit more, plan something for summer or early fall, and I think you will be enjoying every minute of it.

Colorado Fall Fun

October was a wonderful travel month in the USA. Steve and I joined my sister and her husband to discover all the fun in Colorado in the Denver and Vail areas. Brisk mornings soon turned into warm, sunny afternoons where the Aspen trees shimmered with their yellow leaves! My body doesn’t “do” snow skiing, so this was the perfect time of year to enjoy this diverse state.  Shopping, touring, e-biking the many paved trails, fly fishing and soaking in the mineral springs in Glenwood provided much-needed travel delights. The food experience encompassed everything from homemade pizza to delicious steaks at John Elway steak house to gourmet Italian. One of the most fun was the last night at the Minturn “Country Club” which was anything but a fancy affair. Choose your meat and grill it yourself is the name of the game and fun it was! Interested in duplicating this adventure or want help planning a great week away? Feel free to contact me for all the arrangements no matter where your wanderlust takes you.
What’s in the future for group travel?
Fingers crossed that our trip to the Mediterranean will be a go next March! We have 25 on that trip and can even add a few more. Email me for more information!
The Holy Land trip to Israel with an optional Egypt tour add-on is definitely a go for next November. Let me know if you’d like the newest brochure mailed to your house. We can take about eight more on that trip.
Girls' Trip Alert!
Once the virus is contained, I’d also like to offer a group train trip on the Rocky Mountaineer across the scenic Canadian Rockies. This may end up being a girl’s trip only….scenery, fabulous historic hotels, and wildlife galore! The dates and pricing are not available yet, but we are thinking about July of 2022.

We are waiting for dates and itineraries for two fabulous group trips in 2022 –

  • A combination of cruise and tour in New Zealand with an optional add-on of Samoa
  • Patagonia! Where is that? As far south as you can go into Argentina and Chile…incredible flora and fauna.

Let me know if you think you’d like to be added to the interested list when dates and prices are available.

The Holy Land

Departure will be 11/1/2021
New brochures have been printed - email me and I will send you one! We have 20+ going and will have room for about 10 more.

About Me!

I am Lauren Williams, a partner in Trip Quest Travel Services for the past five years. Moving from three decades in education to becoming a travel consultant has caused me to shift from “The Doctor of Education” to “The Doctor of Travel.” My clients are often just like me – they want a rejuvenating vacation that teaches them about the world and the cultures around them. I love beautiful scenery, exploring new places, and learning something new every day! Aside from travel, I stay busy with my husband, Steve, and our four children and thirteen grandchildren. Staying active in the church and in our community feeds our soul as well. I love to play tennis, pickleball, and bridge when I am not helping clients plan that perfect trip! Because our world is so much smaller now, I am happy to work with clients wherever they might live...but by referral only! Hope you enjoy my monthly newsletter – let me know if there is something you’d like to know more about!
