Check your midterm grades on October 18th and consider your current class schedule to determine if you need to make any late schedule changes for Fall 2019. The last group of courses (late 6-week sprints) begin on October 23rd, so if you need to add additional credits, you must make changes now before these classes begin. You can use the Course List to search for late 6-week sprint courses (use the Advanced Search). The deadline to withdraw from a full-semester class is October 28th. Here are some important enrollment reminders if you drop any courses:
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 12 credits total. 9 of those credits must be in-person (not online).
Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 9 credits total. 6 of those credits must be in-person (not online).
Note: Hybrid courses that are coded as 50% or more online will not count as in-person courses.
Question: I'm think about adding an online course. Is that okay? What about a hybrid course?
It’s Fall Break (no classes today, Friday, October 11)! We are halfway through the semester, and now is a great time to pause and reflect on how things are going. If things are not going as well as you had hoped, be sure to reach out for assistance. There are numerous offices on campus that can provide support and guidance. If you’re not sure where to go, start with ISSS!
Enjoy your long weekend and the beautiful fall weather that has finally arrived!
