| Our Three-Year Strategic Plan
| |
| On February 22 and 23 the OD Network Board of Trustees convened in Saint Paul for two full days of board meetings and engagement with our new staff. We discussed strategy, budget, board responsibilities, member engagement, and more. Building on the foundational values of the Network, the 2016 Board of Directors invested significant effort in refreshing the values, purpose and mission of the organization. The purpose of the OD Network is to make meaningful connections. We believe the linkages and relationships resulting from interactions made in and through the OD Network are substantive and relevant. Meaningful connections are made when there’s full engagement among people at the individual, group and organizational levels. We aspire to create spaces where our members connect and support each other in ways that are important and meaningful.

Fuel Up at the 2017 OD Network Conference!
| |
| We regularly pull into the gas station to refuel our cars, we each spend an hour or so a week at the grocery store to restock the pantries, but where do we go to renew our professional development? Why, that is one of the main reasons the Organization Development Network hosts its Annual Conference each October! Here you can connect with old friends and meet new acquaintances, take in sessions on any number of topics you’d like to learn more about, and replenish your calling by having your passion for the field renewed through inspiration speakers, and more. This year our Annual Conference, to be held October 14-17 in Chicago, is being crafted specifically to renew your sense of your calling to our shared profession. We hope that participants will come together as one Network to fall in love once again with the field of Organization Development as together we work to shape our world. The Planning Task Force has been hard at work forging a bit of a hybrid design for you to re-ignite that spark of passion and commitment. You may choose a traditional track of keynote plenaries and individual concurrent sessions or you may choose this year to add in some more experiential learning sessions with actual “clients.” Visit website to learn more about the conference and begin talking to your boss now for approval as you plan to join us in Chicago from October 14-17, 2017 at the Loews Chicago O’Hare! The Call for Abstracts for the annual conference closes March 21. Click here for more information on how to submit a proposal to present a concurrent session.
