OEV's MWSBE Division coordinated a discussion centered around the execution of a procurement-ready pipeline, which included the Capital City Chamber, Domi Station, the Jim Moran Institute of Entrepreneurship, the FAMU SBDC, Blueprint, the Big Bend Minority Chamber, and CareerSource Capital Region. By leveraging the collective knowledge of our community partners, we can share valuable insights & strategies to equip businesses with the tools, knowledge, and connections necessary to thrive in today's competitive marketplace.

TLH International Processing Facility Construction Process
|
|
|
Work continues at Tallahassee International Airport International Processing Facility, a multi-year, $28 million project that will be a major economic driver for the entire region. The facility will connect Tallahassee to global markets, further positioning our region as a competitive, innovative, and sustainable economic hub.
|
| The project will create 158 permanent jobs and generate $53.4 million in economic impact.
|

The Office of Economic Vitality’s Minority, Women, and Small Business Enterprise (MWSBE) Division created the MWSBE Projects Map to inform the public on the current City of Tallahassee, Leon County, and Blueprint projects with MWSBE participation.
|
|
|
|
|
Our Take: This grant is a significant investment in the economic future of the Florida Panhandle. The Florida Panhandle Capital Readiness Collaborative (FPCRC) will help underserved entrepreneurs in 12 counties grow and scale their businesses. This is expected to create new jobs, generate tax revenue, and boost the local economy.

Our Take: This partnership will help fuel existing entrepreneurial endeavors and spark new ones throughout the community.
