Skipper Coates, also known as the Real Ms. Frizzle on social media, is a teacher helping students and fellow educators better understand vaccines. Through the use of her fun comics, Coates is hoping to educate students on the COVID-19 vaccine and how it uses mRNA to create antibodies. While there is more to immunology than these comics can capture, these images help simplify the information for students and educators.
Coates has also provided a free Google Slides lesson highlighting her fun comics for teaches to use in their classrooms!
