Since the scholarship program began more than 36 years ago, FWSF has awarded over $3.0 million to more than 350 deserving women. This year FWSF awarded 11 scholarships (five undergraduate scholarships and six graduate scholarships. On June 29th, the Financial Women's Association of San Francisco (FWSF) hosted a successful networking event in collaboration with the University Club. Over 30 participants enjoyed wine, appetizers, and engaging conversations on a beautiful clear day in San Francisco. The event featured an ice-breaker trivia session, fostering connections and camaraderie among attendees. The combination of great conversations, delicious food, and drinks encouraged members to stay for dinner, further enhancing the sense of community and “belonging” which is a key tenet of FWSF. The event showcased the power of networking and the FWSF's commitment to empowering women in the financial industry. We hope to offer more in-person networking events in the near future.
