hear from Lauren Savage!

Lauren Savage is a spacecraft structural analyst and test engineer for Advanced Development Programs at Blue Origin. She is also a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University and a graduate student researcher at the Human Spaceflight Laboratory at the Johns Hopkins Medical School & Applied Physics Laboratory studying how the human body, particularly the vestibular system, adapts to a microgravity environment. 

Her background is in exotic and future aerospace vehicle development. She spent several years working at the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works on vehicles like the DreamChaser and X-59 (NASA's Low Boom Supersonic Demonstrator). She also worked as an engineer on the F-16, F-22, and F-35. Prior to this, she worked at American Airlines as a Project Engineer on Aircraft Interiors and Human Factors--everything from the ergonomics of business class suites to emergency systems like the bottled oxygen supplies and fire blankets.
