The Washington Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking public comments about its proposed budget, which does not include fare increases or cuts in service, for next fiscal year, as well as its Capital Improvment Program. Specifically WMATA would like to hear how the proposed budget and improvments would effect your "daily travel needs."

You can respond to WMATA by taking the following actions:

Take an online survey. Complete the survey to provide your feedback before 9 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015.

Send an email. Submit written comments before 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2015.

Attend the public hearing Tuesday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. (Information session at 6:00 p.m.) at Metro Headquarters at 600 5th St NW, Washington DC.
