Running Mamas Race Training for a 5K or 10K

 

5K Training Dates:  

August 21st - October 15th

Goal Race:  Gigi's Cupcake 5K on October 15th


10K Training Dates:  
August 21st - November 6th
Goal Race:  Old Reliable 10K (part of the City of Oaks races) on November 6th

Training Schedule for both 5K and 10K:  
Sundays, 5:00PM, Apex Community Park  (2200 Laura Duncan Road)
and
Wednesdays, 6:00PM, Apex Community Park (optional group run)

5K Tuition is $85  / 10K Tuition is $95
(race fees are not included in this price)

Running Mamas Trainings Include:

  • 8 (5K) or 10 (10K) weeks of coached training runs
  • Weekly training plan emails & guidance (1-2 additional runs/week completed on your own).  Training plans are tailored for your ability level
  • Personalized training plans and one-on-one coaching throughout the program   
  • Weekly educational clinics on topics like:  running form, nutrition, injury prevention, increasing speed & distance, and choosing the right shoes.
  • Pre-run sessions on strength training for runners, core workouts for runners, and more
  • Private online Facebook group for motivation and discussion with your fellow Running Mamas
  • Supportive atmosphere with other moms working towards a similar goal.
