Volunteers from our sponsor firms are introducing students to the world of finance through engaging activities and real-world insights. These sessions help students build confidence, gain practical skills and connect with mentors who can guide them toward future careers.

Hedge funds and family offices may seem like different paths, but for Kathryn Robinson, they’ve been part of one career journey.
In a recent conversation with RTSWS CEO Ashley Leftwich, Kathryn shared how she navigated both worlds and what it takes to excel in fast-moving markets. She offered insights on evaluating companies, the impact of AI on investing and advice for students starting their finance careers.

In New York, RTSWS joined UN Women and WYDE's Women Leadership Initiative during the United Nations General Assembly to advance women’s leadership and financial empowerment. At the WYDE Women’s Leadership Initiative event, we highlighted the importance of integrating financial and investment literacy into mentorship programs to better prepare women and girls for leadership roles.

RTSWS Attends Climate Week |
We were proud to participate in Climate Week NYC. One standout program was hosted by the Fixed Income Analyst Society, Inc. with Fordham University. The event featured discussions on sustainable finance in fixed income, with dialogue on how financing tools can be leveraged for climate, finance and innovation, areas of great interest to our talented students. We thank FIASI for including RTSWS in this important conversation.
