Big Swings, Big Impact at Audio-Reader's 15th Annual Golf Classic |
The 15th Annual Golf Classic, held on June 9th, 2025, at the Eagle Bend Golf Course, was a tremendous success, grossing $38,000 for Audio-Reader - our most successful tournament to date! KU Football Assistant Coach - Running Backs, Jonathan Wallace, kicked off the event with inspiring words for participants and golfers enjoyed competing in the 'Beat the Coach' challenge with KU Women's Golf Coach Lindsay Kuhle, among with many other fun competitions along the course. A highlight from the day was hearing from Mary C., an Audio-Reader listener, who shared firsthand the impact of the service for people who are blind or visually impaired.
