Field Day 2024: Celebrating Success and Team Spirit |
Thank you to everyone who made Field Day a huge success this year! In its second year, 36 teams registered and more than 400 university community members celebrated wellness, either by participating on a team or cheering on their colleagues. Attendees showed more team spirit than ever, inspiring us to create a new award for the best team uniform for next year's event. From the photo booth and DJ to the new activities added, this year’s event showcased your commitment to Living Well.

Texas A&M Recognized as a Champion of Learning |
For the outstanding execution of Employee Learning Week last December, Texas A&M University has been recognized as a Champion of Learning by the Association for Talent Development. More than 400 employees engaged in over 3,000 learning hours during the week-long schedule of events organized by Organizational Development and sponsored by Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness. Courses offered a variety of opportunities for employees to expand their skills, explore the power of habits and more, both in person and virtually. If you were unable to participate during Employee Learning Week last year, you are encouraged to review the professional enhancement course schedule to find similar courses and opportunities available throughout the year.

Join us for Living Well's Outdoor Adventure Day at Millican Reserve on May 18! From 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m., you can bask in the outdoors and improve your mood with serotonin-boosting sunshine, dopamine-inducing experiences and endorphin-releasing movement. Beat the heat with family, friends or even your furry friend, and enjoy exclusive access to activities like yoga, kayaking, nature hikes, fishing and more. Treat yourself to delicious food from onsite food trucks. Remember to stay hydrated and sun safe!

Discover essential financial insights at the Financial and Retirement Planning Event on Wednesday, May 15, at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. Explore budgeting tips, savings strategies, retirement planning and more from Texas A&M’s approved investment vendors through informative presentations and informational tables. Enjoy light refreshments and the chance to win door prizes.

Two-Step Wellness Premium Incentive |
The Texas A&M University System prioritizes employee wellness through its Two-Step Wellness Premium Initiative. This program encourages healthy habits through campus- and agency-based initiatives. Engage in this incentive by completing an annual wellness exam and one other qualifying activity by June 30. This applies to both employees and covered spouses enrolled in the A&M Care Plan. Enjoy a $30 monthly premium reduction per individual upon completion of these steps. Living Well is hosting on-campus exams with Catapult Health at the General Services Complex (GSC) in room 101B on May 2-3.

Managers’ Minutes: May 2 and 16 via Zoom |
Register for upcoming sessions of Managers’ Minutes, hosted from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Held every other Thursday via Zoom, managers are encouraged to join in the live presentations and discussions, provide feedback on future topics and review recordings of previously hosted meetings.

If you would like to elect to receive your 1095-C tax form electronically going forward, which includes information about health insurance coverage offered to you by Texas A&M, please follow these steps:

From the SSO menu, click Workday or log in to Workday directly.
- Select the menu in the upper left-hand corner.
- Select “Benefits and Pay.”

Open “Benefits” on the left side of the screen and select “ACA Forms.”
- Click “Change Your 1095-C Printing Election.”
- On the next screen, click the circle next to “Receive electronic copy of 1095-C."
- Click “OK” at the bottom of the screen.

Click “Done” at the bottom of the next screen.
