Orientation 2025: Joy & Meaning: Last Week's Events Set Tone for Entering and Clinic Students
A range of Orientation activities last week provided guidance for new and clinic students in the prelude to today's start of the fall 2025 semester.
"I hope that what you find at Loyola is that while we are engaging in the hard work, you are also feeling the joy, you are feeling the meaning, and you are feeling the reward," said Dean Brietta Clark in her welcome address to new students.
While new students attended a range of sessions led by faculty, upper-division students, alumni, and judges interpersed with social hours, clinic students went into the field, visiting the East L.A. Courthouse, as well as partner organizations like Dolores Mission Church and Homeboy Industries.
Many students shared their #LLSOrientation experiences for the school's social media contest, including Ben Reese (pictured). Winners will be notified this week about how to pick up their new LLS swag! More>>
