Christine Grashorn provides strategic communications support for the Institute's research and academic programs through storytelling, event promotion, social media and website management.

Shifu Hou specializes in the integration of Graph Neural Networks (GNN) and Large Language Models (LLM) to enhance AI capabilities, particularly in cybersecurity and logical reasoning.

Project Manager
|
Nikhil Shenoy supports project management for the Institute's centers and labs. He will use his expertise to tackle various aspects of projects, including the Lucy Data Platform – DatModo.

Vadym Zeinalov
Program Support Specialist

In his capacity as Program Support Specialist, Vadym Zeinalov supports the various projects of the Institute's centers and labs through event coordination, communications and data analytics.

|
Notre Dame chemist, Marya Lieberman, designs chemical tests that can provide immediate results to concerned community members.
Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Lucy Institute Faculty affiliate, Lieberman's "citizen science" work in combating the opioid crisis was awarded the 2023 Lucy Institute Next Changemaker Award, and has been recently featured in an edition of Notre Dame Stories.

The Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society seeks nominations for our annual Lucy Societal Impact Awards (“The Lucies“) to recognize individuals or teams whose work exemplifies the Institute’s vision to inspire collaborative, equitable, and impactful data innovations as a global force for good.
Work should include significant contributions within the civic, industry, academic, or research arena with impact at either the regional (South Bend/Elkhart) or global (United States and beyond) level.
