What does it mean to be an emeriti faculty? Many full professors are curious about this question but cannot always find role models and mentors to help them see what’s possible. What aspects of a faculty life remain the same? What changes? What are the opportunities and challenges of this new rank? And how can emeriti faculty remain active and engaged with communities within Duke, their academic disciplines, and beyond?
