Following a year of rebuilding after the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Associated Students of University of Puget Sound (ASUPS) is ready to hit the ground running and President Nate Sansone '24 is excited about getting Loggers engaged with their student government. In high school, Sansone didn’t think he would attend college, but after a campus visit, he fell in love with Puget Sound. Now, he hopes to get more people involved in campus events and activities. The politics and government major has been busy working with the ASUPS team to fill vacant positions, plan LogJam!, and streamline the budget process for student clubs. “There are a lot of opportunities to get involved and pursue your passions, whether it’s writing for The Trail or being a DJ for KUPS or starting a club,” Sansone says. “We're here to support students.”
