Groundbreaking 2026
This week, Dowling Catholic officially broke ground on the Honoring Our History, Faith in Our Future campaign. More than 200 community members, including Bishop Joensen, campaign donors, alumni, parents, students and staff joined in the celebration. See photos of the event HERE.
This milestone is made possible by the incredible generosity and belief so many people have in the mission and future of Dowling Catholic. Together, we have raised more than $50 million. Thank you to all donors who made this possible and to those discerning their support.

Ticket punched! Congratulations to the boys tennis team on a 5-1 victory over Valley to advance to the state tournament. Also qualifying for state doubles were the teams of Ian Chapman & Landon Cody, district doubles champions, and Rob Beecher & Marek Dessimoz, who finished second. Team state will be held June 2–3 in Waukee, with the doubles tournament May 27–28 in Iowa City. Good luck, Maroons!

Counseling Department Updates
The DCHS Counseling Department will see several changes for the 2026–27 school year. After 20 years of dedicated service, Lauri Stilwill is retiring from DCHS. Taylor Schulte will also be leaving to pursue other opportunities. Meghan Osborn will transition to the intervention team which works closely with students to provide academic support. Rebecca Cooling will continue to lead the department, while Colleen Koppes remains in her role as College & Career Coordinator.
Joining the department this summer are new counselors Michael Dean, Ashley Hoffman and Maren Friedman. Our team will work throughout the summer to ensure a smooth transition for students and families. Please join us in welcoming our new counselors!
Summer Maroon Market Orders
If your family is in need of food and personal hygiene items over the summer, please fill out this form by May 29 to receive Maroon Market orders. There is no cost and weekly, bi-weekly or monthly orders are available this summer.
Senior Transcripts
Seniors who have taken college credit courses through St. Louis University or DMACC can request their transcripts utilizing their social security number and birthdate (student ID not required). Students must request their transcripts directly from the college. To request St. Louis University & DMACC transcripts, search each
school's name on the National Clearinghouse transcript site.
Serva Fidem Conference
The first ever Serva Fidem Conference will be held at Grandview University on July 17-18. Featured speakers will include chaplains Fr. Reed Flood (DCHS), Fr. Max Carson (Saint Albert’s), Fr. Enan Zelinski (University of Wisconsin Madison), and campus minister Katie Hopping (Saint Albert’s). Open to all Serva Fidem students and anyone interested! Register here.
