Bea Padilla loved her college experience at Central Washington University. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, she went to work for the university’s human resources office before switching to technology support and pursuing a master’s degree. In her new role as student technology experience manager at Puget Sound, Bea gets to combine her passion for developing people with her interest in technology. Padilla supervises a team of students who work at the student service desk in Technology Services, manages the campus computer labs, and oversees student printing. Her favorite part of working in higher education is mentoring students and helping them learn skills they can apply to a career after college. Outside of work, she loves to go on walks, listen to R&B, exercise, and spend time with her two nieces.
