MEOWY CHRISTMAS AND  YAPPY NEW YEAR!
As 2018 draws to a close we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters, volunteers and members.  Our work can be difficult but it is also incredibly gratifying and rewarding.
It is because of you that we are able to reach out, care for and find homes for the many hundreds of homeless pets that pass through our doors each year. Your continued support is crucial if we are to carry out our mission of providing safe haven, medical care, food and loving attention until our pets are adopted.
We wish all of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!
GIRLFRIENDS
After Hurricane Michael, a group of girlfriends decided they wanted to reach out to help those in need in the area.  Being animal lovers, they chose us to be one of two organizations to benefit from their fundraising and generosity. After 6 weeks raising money on go fund me, they presented us with a check in the amount of $10,000.00!
We intook approximately 25 dogs and cats after the storm.  Several were injured and sick and needed extensive medical care.  We depleted our medical fund but due to the generous donation from the Girlfriends of 30A, we have enough money to care for the next sick or injured pet that comes to us.
Thank you girls from the bottom or our hearts!
OYSTER COOK-OFF
We will be in attendance at the annual Apalachicola Oyster Cook-Off on Saturday, January 19th.  We will have puppies, dogs, cats and kittens available for adoption and our Franklin County Humane Society t-shirts will be available for purchase.  Please be sure to stop by our adoption tent to say hello and spend some time interacting with our pets.  They love the extra attention and we enjoy seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
DECK THE HALLS WITH PILES OF PUPPIES
These 3 week old puppies were owner surrendered along with their mama. Our Christmas pups won't be ready to go for another 5 weeks but they can be adopted.  There are 5 males and 1 female.  Dad is a Yellow Lab and mom is a Lab mix.
If you are looking to add a family member in 2019, we can't imagine anything cuter than one of these babies!
