Campus welcomed 750 first-time, full-time undergraduates on Monday, and more than 30% are National Merit Scholars – the most per capita in the United States. Among all 2024 Oklahoma National Merit Semifinalists, 25% are enrolled at UTulsa.

Mussel Memory

Walking along a riverbank in southeast Oklahoma, Professor Kenneth Roberts, chair of the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, noticed the shells of dead mussels. Looking closer, he realized something strange about their growth layers and it gave him an idea with a big impact.

Green with Envy

This summer, 11 UTulsa students from engineering, psychology, energy management, computer science, and foreign language visited Beijing alongside their peers from Harvard and MIT. These future leaders met in China with a mission: to save the planet.
