When Students Must Stay Home
As many SLPS families plan to return to in-person instruction, we are sharing the criteria we will use to determine whether a child is able to physically be at school.
This Student Symptom Decision Tree was developed by three physicians at the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Washington University School of Medicine. It was published in The Journal of Pediatrics on September 24, 2020. Please keep the decision tree handy, as you evaluate your child's health each morning. At the link, you will also find the algorithm nurses will use to evaluate any child that presents symptoms at school and information about how schools will assist with contact tracing.

School-to-School Transfers
Friendly reminder ... schools are not able to accommodate intra-district transfers at this time. As we prepare to return elementary schools to in-person instruction, it is critical that we know how many students are enrolled at each site, so we can ensure students are socially distanced and appropriately assigned to a cohort. Thank you!
