Sweet Surprise

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for last week’s Sweet Surprise. As I looked around while enjoying my Round Rock Donut, I saw students relaxing in the hammocks, a class meeting on the Academic Mall, and a farmers market full of other tasty goods. This is fall on Southwestern’s campus.

Today, we are back on the Academic Mall from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for another sweet surprise (in the event of rain, join us on the Robertson Center east portico). You guessed it: the secret committee refuses to be seen and will not say what it is. However, the trustees will be lining up along with the rest of us, so please say hello!

Homecoming Weekend Festivities

Celebrate the Southwestern Experience this weekend! The Southwestern community will come together for my official presidential inauguration, the Shilling Lecture, and our Homecoming activities. Morning Walk

Get an early start on your Halloween sweet fix by joining me on my Monday morning walk at 7:30 a.m. next week. We’ll walk, talk, and enjoy Halloween treats at the end. I can’t wait to see you there.
