This month, the historic buggy shed at Menallen Friends Meeting in Biglerville, PA has been undergoing work to bring the structure upright and preserve it for future generations. Menallen Meeting was founded in 1748. In the mid-nineteenth Century, Menallen Friends Phebe and William Wright aided over a 1000 enslaved freedom seekers on their way North, and the Meeting served as a hub on the Underground Railroad.
