Data Review Rooms in Moldova
The government of Moldova has opened two Data Review Rooms through the support of USAID and D4I. The Rooms facilitate regular and timely review of data to support the Ukrainian refugee crisis, coordinate response, and prepare for future emergencies. The first Room was launched in Ștefan Vodă, a central entry point for many fleeing Ukraine, within the Directorate General for Social Assistance and Family Protection. The second Room was opened within the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in Chișinău. The rooms represent the Moldovan government’s commitment to using data for stakeholder-led decision making.
Behavioral Interventions for the Use of Evaluation Findings
Significant investments are put into health research, resulting in more data than ever being generated and analyzed. Yet, these findings are not always used to inform decisions about global health programs and policies. A new D4I report, Behavioral Interventions for the Use of Evaluation Findings, applied a behavioral perspective to understand both barriers and enablers of evaluation findings in USAID global health programs. The report recommends 10 promising strategies for increasing the use of evaluation findings, which are summarized in an infographic, brief, and webinar.
