Directive from Oregon Department of Human Services
Directive from Oregon Department of Human Services
Dear Edwards Center staff and families,

Tomorrow night (3/11/2022) at 11:59pm the state’s indoor mask mandate will be lifted for most settings. The mandate remains in place for some settings, however, including those overseen by Oregon’s Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS). As you can see in the attached notice from the ODDS Director, masks are still required for staff and visitors in group homes, as well as staff supporting people in Supported Living, Day Services and Employment. This is due to the increased vulnerability experienced by the people we serve. I have not yet seen anything indicating when the mandate will be lifted for DD Services providers.
Edwards Center will still require the use of masks in all office settings consistent with our practices throughout the pandemic.

Thank you for your continued diligence keeping the people we serve safe.

Warm regards,
