Elena Becker ’17 is Puget Sound’s senior admission counselor and the host of PS: The Puget Sound Podcast. In addition to helping prospective students and families understand the college admission process, Elena uses the weekly podcast to help future Loggers see themselves on campus. By interviewing faculty and staff members, current students, and alumni, Elena illustrates the shared themes and experiences central to the Puget Sound community.

READ MORE Fifth graders at Birney Elementary School in Tacoma welcomed Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Uchenna Baker into their classroom for Read Across America Day, a national celebration of reading that takes place each year on Dr. Seuss' birthday. Baker read Psssst! It's Me... the Bogeyman by Barbara Park, in which the titular monster under the bed tries to set his reputation straight.
