SoCJ Students Create Mental Health Toolkit for Student Journalists
A group of students spent the past year developing Coping with Crisis: Journalists on the Frontline. The guide explores the science and biology of trauma, suggests coping strategies and techniques from professional journalists, and offers advice on how to respectfully engage with, and tell the stories of, people in times of crisis. The work was led by Sarah Baxter, director of the Marie Colvin Center for International Reporting and funded by the Solutions Journalism Network.
