I send this message to announce that we will return to tradition this Spring with our plans for in-person Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 7.
Please join me at 10 a.m. in the Quad for our University-wide main ceremony. This ceremony will include the conferral of doctoral, specialist, master’s, and baccalaureate degrees. It will also feature commencement speakers, special awards, and the opportunity to take photographs of this special occasion with family and friends.
Following the main ceremony, our academic colleges will host three ceremonies throughout the afternoon and evening in Worthen Arena. At these ceremonies, our undergraduate and master’s candidates will be individually recognized as they walk across the stage.
The order of college ceremonies will be as follows:
- 12:30 PM – Miller College of Business and College of Communication, Information, and Media
- 3:30 PM – College of Fine Arts and College of Sciences and Humanities
- 6:30 PM – R. Wayne Estopinal College of Architecture and Planning; College of Health; and Teachers College
Tickets will not be required for either the main or individual college ceremonies, so graduates are welcome to invite as many guests as they would like. Students who are registered for Commencement will receive additional details in the coming weeks. If you are a student eligible to graduate this Spring who has not yet applied or registered to attend, please email email@example.com. For future updates and additional details, please visit our Commencement website.
I look forward to celebrating the achievements of our Spring graduates with all of you.
