Night Hike at Southeast Clarke Park
Discover local trails by moonlight! Come along on our guided night hike at Southeast Clarke Park. Enjoy activities that enhance the beauty and magic of our forest at night.
This night hike is planned for Friday, September 9 from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.. Participants must be 10 years or older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The fee is $2 for ACC residents and $3 for non-residents. Online registration is required.
Participants are reminded to wear clothing and shoes for hiking. Bring along a water bottle and a small flashlight.

Just for Teens
Hey, Teens! These evenings are just for you!
Teen Night Out programs are available at Heard Park and Lay Park. Spend some time playing basketball, Teen Tech Lab, ultimate frisbee, video games, and much more!
Just for girls...Glitter Girls takes place at Heard Park this fall. The program's mission is to build, educate, and empower young girls to be the best version of themselves through knowledge, awareness, development, and self discipline. Some activities include, but are not limited to taking trips, teaching self care, career/skill development, and goal setting. Online registration is required.

Fall Registration Continues!
Programs include art classes, baton, youth cooking classes, dance, gymnastics, nature programs, preschool activities, soccer, softball, teen programs, tennis, theatre, therapeutic recreation, and special holiday events.
Online activity registration will continue until activities are at full enrollment or they begin.
Before registering, individuals who have not already done so must establish a free online account at www.accgov.com/myrec. Payment may be rendered using a debit card, American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, Visa, or a MasterCard or Visa gift card.
Individuals with expired scholarships and new scholarship applicants must visit a Leisure Services Department facility office at least five business days prior to registering for a program. Scholarships must be applied for in person. Information regarding the scholarship activity, including required documentation, is available at www.accgov.com/scholarship.

Journey through the Stars Program
Join Sandy Creek Nature Center for the Fall Skies planetarium program in the Sky Center. We will journey through the night sky, exploring the great beyond.
This program is planned for Saturday, September 17 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. and is for ages five and older. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Masks are required. The fee is $2 for ACC residents and $3 for non-residents.

Athens Water Festival
It's back! The annual Athens Water Festival at Sandy Creek Park! This special event is scheduled for Saturday, September 10 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Festival is free, however there is the $2 per person park entry fee.

A unique class series where African movement and music come together to promote fun, friendships & collaboration and young men develop rhythm, musicality & coordination under the guidance of our expert instructors.
This program is for ages 6-18 and takes place Mondays, September 12 - October 31 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
The fee is $42 for ACC residents and $63 for non-residents.
