Clemson-Sponsored Programs offer Measurable Path to Success
It may not seem like it takes courage to go to college, but not all young people grow up in an atmosphere in which higher education is seen as necessary or practical. Clemson’s strategic development of more than 30 programs and initiatives has increased the state’s outreach to its underrepresented students, inspiring them to set their sights on higher education, supporting them during their college years and helping them land jobs after graduating.

From These Hills to Hollywood Hills
Ashley Holt ’12 started her first post-college job even before graduating. In the decade that followed, Ashley has worked her way from production assistant to producer and has worked on shows like Jeopardy! National College Championship, Shark Tank, and World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge.

Clemson University is committed to transparency and accuracy in telling the history of the African American Burial Ground in Woodland Cemetery and has launched a website to serve as an accounting of the university's role in Woodland Cemetery and a place to share stories about African Americans who are buried there.
| | Three Named Truman Scholar Finalists
Three Clemson juniors have been selected as finalists for the prestigious Truman Scholarship, marking the second year in a row Clemson has had multiple finalists. This year’s competition for the $30,000 scholarship had a record number of applicants and resulted in 193 finalists. South Carolina has four: three from Clemson and one from the University of South Carolina.

2021 Football Gameday Designations Announced
