Record Books, Record Books, Don't Forget Your Record Books! |
Club members, if you have not already done so, please make sure you are taking time to complete your records books for the 2023-2024 program year. All books are due to the county office by August 30th. Keep an eye out for updates on member evaluation dates. Exact dates are TBD, but are expected to be scheduled sometime in October of November.
Why is it important to keep a record book of your 4-H Activities?
4-H Record books are books you make to record your annual projects. By recording your activities you can remember all the fun you’ve had so far, and set future goals! Keeping records of 4-H projects could help you when you apply for college scholarships too!

You're invited to join us for the Waukesha County 4-H Open House! This year's open house will be held at the Waukesha County Expo Center on Thursday, October 24th from 5:30-7:00pm.
Open house is a space where clubs and groups have the opportunity to meet with and talk to potential new members about club activities and the benefits of joining 4-H. This is a great opportunity for youth to share their sparks and all the hard work they've done in their project with community members. This is also a great opportunity for all 4-H members to connect with other clubs, volunteers, and youth.
**All chartered clubs and groups are required to participate in this year’s County-wide open house**

Waukesha County 4-H May 15th Project Night Workshop Recap |
This month's Waukesha 4-H Project Night was a blast! Youth got to explore their sparks through jewelry making, kinetic sand science experiments, and refractive photography exploration. This space also allowed them to make friends and connect with other 4-H youth in the county while learning a new skill and having fun. A huge thank you to our volunteers Jennifer R., Mary K., Jacey H., Joelle H., and Terri J. for helping make the night a huge success!
Missed out on this month's Project Night? No worries! Project Nights will continue on a monthly basis starting in the Fall. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to come share their own sparks through leading workshops for our youth. If this is something you would be interested in, please contact James Boling at james.boling@wisc.edu or Nicole Loeffler at nicole.loeffler@wisc.edu.
