The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Mr. Leon L. Rausch, CS-03, Class of 1965. Mr. Rausch passed away on Feb. 18, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

A Funeral Service was held on Feb. 25, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, Plano, Texas. A private graveside service followed at DFW National Cemetery.

His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to Faith Lutheran Church and School, Lutheran Heritage Foundation or Luther College.
