Pre-Proposals for NATA Foundation Professional Grants Due Nov. 15
The NATA Research & Education Foundation requires investigators interested in submitting a grant application to the NATA Foundation to first submit a pre-proposal for the following grants: General, New Investigator, Education and LGBTQ+. Pre-proposals are not required for Master’s or Doctoral grants. Pre-proposals are due Nov. 15.

Apply for the Transitional Employment Workgroup
The Transitional Employment Workgroup will develop a strategic plan to provide resources to NATA members who are in a loss of employment situation. Resources will include those that assist individuals in employment stabilization assessment and/or future employment transition considerations. All certified and retired certified ATs in all settings are eligible to apply. The deadline to apply is Nov. 24.

The PRAT Distinction Award is the NATA Professional Responsibility in Athletic Training (PRAT) Committee’s highest honor to recognize NATA members and nonmembers who have made a substantial contribution to the advancement of legal, ethical and regulatory issues in the areas of athletic training and sports medicine. NATA Foundation Announces New Board Members
The NATA Research & Education Foundation would like to welcome new board members: Vice President of Education & Professional Development Programs Kavin Tsang, PhD, ATC; District Four Chair Mark Gibson, MSEd, MS, ATC; District Five Chair Greg Gardner, EdD, ATC; District Seven Chair Michelle Gonzalez, MS, AT, ATC; and District Eight Chair Ky Kugler, EdD, ATC. The at-large directors are Eric McDonnell, MEd, ATC, LAT, and Bob Gray, MS, ATC. Terms were renewed for Vice President of Operations Ken Cameron, PhD, MPH, ATC, and District One Chair Ed Lacerte, DPT, ATC.
