Weeping Willow Tours EAA Museum

The Weeping Willow 4-H Club visited the EAA Museum in Oshkosh on Saturday, April 15, and was presented with a guided tour. The day concluded with a pizza and token game party at the Oshkosh Mineshaft.

Free Rummage Sale
Free rummage, yes you heard that right, everything is FREE! 
4-H families, and your friends, are invited to the 28th semi-annual FREE rummage hosted by the Weeping Willow 4-H club and area homeschoolers. Let's be a blessing to each other by donating our gently used items, and come shopping to see what our friends would like to bless us with.
DONATIONS NEEDED. 
Donation set-up will be Thursday, May 18, 8 am -12 pm at Lighthouse Christian Church. Please place your donations on the appropriate tables or the volunteers will help you find the right tables. Shopping will be Thurs. 2-6 pm for 4-H families. The general public is invited on Fri. 8 am - 1 pm. If you are interested in helping please contact Bonnie Buxton at bonitabuxton@yahoo.com.

NEW - Foodie Camp
Description: Put on your aprons and chef hats! Campers will measure, chop, and stir their way into the cooking world by creating recipes and snacks! Youth will compile a recipe book at the end of camp. Each day youth will have the chance to practice different culinary skills while cooking in the kitchen.

Art Camp

Description:
• Art-Rageous - Calling all youth artists! From clay to oil pastels and everything in between, youth will explore art by channeling their creativity while learning about different artists, techniques, and media.
• Picturesque Painting - Youth will explore all things paint this day. Activities will include watercolor, paint pouring, and acrylic painting. Bring your paint clothes and creative minds and we will supply the rest!
• Phenomenal Photography - Learn about how to use your camera and what settings and features to use for what settings and situations. Youth will also learn about selecting photos, mounting, and other tips and tricks. Youth will practice taking pictures this day. (Recommendation: youth bring their own cameras if possible).

4-H Scholarships Due May 15 to Extension Office

A friendly reminder that scholarships are due to the office on May 15. All applications and forms can be found online: https://fonddulac.extension.wisc.edu/4h/awards-scholarships/. Youth are encouraged to apply and there are different requirements for the different scholarships. In 2023, one scholarship of $750 in memory of Allen Buechel will be awarded. This scholarship will continue to be offered in the future in his honor. Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the Fair Graduation Ceremony.  
4-H members are wearing shirts, skirts, dresses, robes, hats and pants that they either made or purchased for the Fashion Revue.

Fashion Revue Registration Opened May 1

All 4-H members in the clothing, crocheting, knitting, cloverbud, consumer savvy, and exploring projects are invited to participate. Participants will be graded on the garment itself, their creativity in the project, and the overall appearance of the garment on the model. On the night of the event, please arrive wearing the garment that will be judged as youth will model the garment.

Foods Revue Registration Opened May 1

4-H members in Foods, Cloverbud, or Exploring projects plan a menu, prepare a food item, and present the menu and food item creatively through a table setting. Youth speak with a judge about the elements of menu planning and the food they have prepared. Various prizes are awarded. This year's theme is CHEESE!
