Campus Event: “What Were You Wearing?” Exhibit Opening |
Join us today, Wednesday, March 26, at 3:30 p.m. in the Toot Global Learning Center atrium for the opening reception of What Were You Wearing?, an impactful exhibit installed by Walsh University Museum Studies students. This exhibition brings awareness to sexual assault by challenging victim-blaming narratives and emphasizing that clothing does not cause assault—perpetrators do.
Speakers include Molly MacMath, Director of COMPASS, and Melanie Timco, Director for Prevention Education and Programming at Walsh. Light refreshments will be available as you engage in this important conversation.
In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, this exhibit serves as a powerful reminder of our shared commitment to human dignity and safe, respectful relationships. QR codes throughout the exhibit provide access to campus support resources, and visitors can complete a brief survey to have a survivor care kit donated in their honor to the COMPASS Rape Crisis Center in Stark County. The exhibit will be available throughout the month of April. | Read More
