4-H Fall Kick-Off Committee Seeking HelpI am wondering if there would be 4-H members interested in helping plan the annual 4-H Fall Kick-Off Meeting. I would like to have a rally for the 4-H officers and general leaders to start the year off strong to get everyone excited again. Please let me know if you are interested. I am looking for a few youth leaders as well as general leaders. I would like to have one short planning meeting before the kick-off.
The date for the kick-off is Wednesday, October 4, 6:30 pm at UWO Fond du Lac Campus. I will be reaching out to all those who are committed to helping plan this event in the next two weeks to schedule the planning meeting.

Cloverbud RecordbooksCloverbuds have a special record book to complete. It can include photos, drawings, and written thoughts about what you liked in 4-H over the past year. Parents and older siblings are encouraged to help Cloverbuds get started on their record book. Turn in the Cloverbud Record Book to your club leader on, or before, the due date. Each club has a different due date, so ask your club leader or family mentor for the details.

Art Camp RecapArt Camp was 3 days of fun-filled art-related activities! We started off with the Art-Rageous camp where youth explored different types of art media and tried new techniques. Youth created their own sketchbook and made some 3-D jellyfish, paper mosaics, different types of drawings, oil pastels, and chalk pastels.
For Picturesque Painting, youth did all things painting! To start the day they did rock painting, followed by acrylic and watercolor painting. Later in the day, youth painted ceramic gnomes, did salt painting, painted outside, and played some games.
On the last day of art camp, the youth explored photography. They learned about camera settings, how to use their camera correctly, and took pictures of nature all over campus. The youth also played around with trick photography and played a few games throughout the day.
Overall, the youth had a great time. Make sure to check out the Facebook page for more pictures from the art camp.
