St. Michael's Closed On Monday
A friendly reminder that St. Michael's will be CLOSED on Monday, January 19, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday is a National Day of Service, inspiring us to renew our commitment to serving one another and strengthening our communities. Across the nation, Americans will honor Dr. King’s legacy through acts of kindness, community service, and civic engagement. We invite our families to do the same.

St M Literati Book Fair
It's almost time for the annual St. Michael's Book Fair! Check out great new titles, pick up some great winter reads, and support our St. Michael's community all at once! St. Michael’s is excited to be working with online book company Literati for our book fair this year. Here's some helpful information for new and returning Book Fair shoppers:
- Our Online Book Fair is currently live! Visit our St. Michael’s Literati store to start browsing and purchasing books. If you would like to make a purchase before the Book Fair, look for the ‘Free School Delivery’ tag, to avoid shipping costs.
- Teacher Wish Lists are also live, and available for browsing on the online store. As in years past, each Teacher Wish List book purchased will earn 1 raffle ticket for our fabulous Book Fair raffle baskets; just list your student's name when ordering.
- This year’s fair is Completely Cashless! No more plastic baggies and lost change! For the easiest shopping experience, Book Fair shoppers are encouraged to purchase a Literati gift card. Credit cards and personal checks will also be accepted.
- The In-Person Book Fair will take place from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, January 27th through 11 a.m. on Friday, January 30th in the newly renovated Allen Library. All St M students will visit the Book Fair with their home room or English class.
- 25-30% of all Book Fair sales come back to the St M community, helping to support our St M library collections, classroom libraries, and SMPA programming!
- Come to the Book Fair Open House on Wednesday, January 28th, from 5-7 p.m. to turn book shopping into a night out! Pick up your pre-ordered Chick-fil-A dinner, enjoy an ice cream sundae with friends, and support St M all in one fun-filled evening! Please place your FOOD ORDERS below.

Join Us for Our January Dragon Dialogue: Programming for St M ParentsTopic: The Benefits of Perspective Taking and the Power of Curiosity
DATE: Wednesday, January 28, 8:15 a.m., in the Perkinson Arts Center.
Led by Dr. Kim Hilton, St M's Consulting Psychologist, Jen Radgowski, St M's School Counselor, and Merrill Geier, Lower School Director.
In this Dragon Dialogue, we will explore the challenges inherent in helping our children navigate rough patches in social relationships. We'll discuss how listening with curiosity—by asking thoughtful, open-ended questions—helps children develop perspective-taking skills, or the ability to “see through someone else’s eyes.” This skill supports children in building strong relationships, navigating conflicts, and solving problems with empathy and growing confidence. Please RSVP to attend.
