TOCSL EVENTS

Good Morning, Commuters
FREE breakfast for commuter students on Wednesday, March 6th from 9-11:30am (end time may vary while supplies last). It is an excellent opportunity for off-campus students to connect over breakfast. TOCSL serves around 150 UMD students per month!
We will be giving away exclusive Muffin Man keychains to the first 50 students, while supplies last. We will also have Qdoba burritos available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Office of Sustainability 2024-2025 Internships
The Office of Sustainability is excited to host a cohort of five student interns for the 2024-2025 academic year. These internships are a unique opportunity for students to develop valuable professional experience and skills in the sustainability field during their time at UMD. The interns will play a critical role in connecting students, staff, and faculty with campus sustainability resources and encouraging the campus community to take action towards a more sustainable future.

SEE's Bridgerton Ball
Dearest gentle-readers of the ton, you are cordially invited to SEE's Bridgerton Ball on March 8th from 6pm-8pm! Wear your finest attire and be ready to dance to your heart's content, make Bridgerton-inspired DIYs, and maybe even be chosen as the Diamond of the Season. Admission is FREE so we hope to see you in STAMP's Colony Ballroom on March 8th!
SORC Finance is Hiring!
The Student Organization Resource Center (SORC) supports over 400 student organizations. The SORC Finance office, within SORC, manages financial accounts of the SGA-recognized organizations, supporting the allocation and spending of a $1 million annual budget. This undergraduate position assists in processing financial transactions and performing ongoing audits for all organization accounts.

Join the CARE Team
The CARE to Stop Violence office provides free, confidential advocacy and therapy services to survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. CARE simultaneously empowers the campus community to prevent violence through educational presentations, events, and outreach activities.
Are you interested in joining our team? Applications for CARE'S Peer Programs are open!

CARE offers three Peer Programs for current undergraduate students: Peer Education, Peer Outreach, and Peer Advocacy. Our year-long programs enable students to gain professional experience and earn 6 course credits. Students will learn about power-based violence, support survivors, develop their public speaking skills, and gain program planning experience

Naloxone Training
Did you know you can get Naloxone at the UHC for free? Just attend a Naloxone Training! Register for a free, one-hour training - our next training session is on Thursday, Feb. 29 from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the Health Center, we hope to see you there!
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy has many benefits to the mind, body and soul. It helps relieve pain, ease stress, improve sleep, and so much more. Massage Therapy is available to students, faculty, and staff at an affordable cost! Students who are enrolled in the University of Maryland Student Health Insurance Plan are eligible to receive one (1) free massage therapy each semester. Learn more about Massage Therapy at the University Health Center and book an appointment today. 
The Wellness Series
The Counseling Center is hosting drop-in virtual skills sessions. Check out any or all of the 16 topics Mondays-Thursdays at 4 p.m. throughout the semester. Upcoming topics include: Coping with Stress, Dealing with Disappointment, Conquering Procrastination, and Effective Communication Skills. Advanced registration is not required. 
Free Peer Nutrition Coaching
Peer Nutrition Coach can help you incorporate all your favorite holiday foods into a nourishing diet.  Email nutritioncoach@umd.edu to set up an appointment 
Wags for Wellness
Wags for Wellness is an Animal Assisted Activity, featuring well trained and highly skilled volunteer pups from our partner organization People. Animals. Love. (PAL). Visit the Health Center’s Wags for Wellness page for more information and a list of upcoming special events this spring.
