April marked National Volunteer Month. Local leaders in Clark County and Vancouver recognized the incredible individuals who help our community thrive by presenting proclamations in their honor.
Volunteers restore natural areas, plant trees, and support recreation programs, community events, neighborhood spaces, and so much more. They are the heart of Vancouver, making it greener, stronger, and more connected.
To every volunteer, thank you. Vancouver blooms brighter because of you.

Urban Forestry Tree Stewards |
Neighborhood Tree Stewards receive free training from local arboriculture experts and the Urban Forestry team on tree care, planting, regulations, restoration, and the many benefits trees provide to the community. In return, participants help share tree knowledge through neighborhood projects and outreach, supporting a healthier and more resilient urban forest across Vancouver.
